Overview of Da Nang IT Park project

Da Nang IT Park project is invested by Da Nang IT Park Development Joint Stock Company, a member of Trung Nam Group.

Location: Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City, Vietnam

Total area: 341 hectares including 2 phases:

  • Phase 1: 131 hectares, completed, ready to serve investors and recognized by the Prime Minister as a centralized IT Park in Decision No. 27/QD/TTg on January 6, 2020.
  • Phase 2: 210 hectares, preparing for investment.

Total investment capital: 121 million USD

Vision: DITP will become one of Asia’s best information technology development communities in Da Nang city following the US Silicon Valley model

Currently, Companies showing interest in participating in Da Nang IT Park : IBM, Cisco, Intel, KDDI, Mitsui, NTT Data, Japanese firms, US and local Software & IT companies.

Location of Da Nang IT Park project

DITP is located in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city, the project is 20 minutes by car from the city center.

From here you can easily access the Administrative – Business Area, International Airport, International Seaport, University and tourist attractions, entertainment,… only takes about 20-30 minutes go by car.

Traffic

Transportation system connects with main road 30-40m wide and branch routes to functional areas 15.5m wide

DITP connects main routes:

  • Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway
  • Nguyen Tat Thanh Street is extended

  • Lien Chieu International Port

Electricity supply

Using low voltage power from the 110kV transformer station in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and solar power systems on factory areas.

Water source

Water is supplied from the Da Nang city water supply system and from the Hoa Trung lake water plant.

Drainage system

Designed separately, including rainwater drainage system and wastewater drainage system. Both systems connect to the common drainage system in the area.

Wastewater treatment

Wastewater is treated through the main wastewater treatment system of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and the wastewater treatment plant of the IT park.

Information and communications technology

Telephone services, broadband and transmission services are connected throughout the project, with a 48 Fo fiber optic cable system.

Land rental or investment cooperation services in Da Nang IT Park – phase 1 are as follows:

Tax incentives

Incentives from the project developer: Free land rental depending on the type, scale of investment and time from 5 to 50 years

Information technology enterprises can enjoy corporate income tax incentives for a period of 15 years

Import tax exemption for imported goods to create fixed assets and serve the production of information technology products and services of businesses

Enjoy export tax incentives for IT products and services

  • The first 4 years after having revenue – 0% applicable tax rate
  • The next 9 years – Applicable tax rate of 5%
  • The next 2 years – 10% applicable tax rate
  • After the preferential period – Applicable tax rate 20% – 22%

Fees for using technical infrastructure

  • Project of IT research, development, application, transfer, IT human resource training, IT incubation and IT businesses – Preferential rate 100% exemption for the first 2 years and 50% discount for the next 3 years.
  • Manufacturing projects belonging to the Electronics – Informatics industry group and the group of industrial products supporting high-tech industries in the List of priority supporting industry products for development – Preferential level: 50% discount in the first 2 years.
