Overview of VSIP 1 Industrial Park project

VSIP 1 Industrial Park is the first project of Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited to build and develop, with Former Prime Minister of Vietnam Vo Van Kiet and Former Prime Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong as honored guests. Representatives of the two Governments at the Groundbreaking Ceremony on May 14, 1996.

VSIP I has now become one of the model industrial parks with the achievements of a leading industrial park in Vietnam. Covering 100% of the area, VSIP I has attracted 231 projects with a total investment capital of about 3.2 billion US dollars. VSIP I also created 95,000 jobs for workers and contributed to the industrialization, modernization and urbanization of Binh Duong province.

VSIP I is also very successful in forming complex projects of Trade Centers – Services – Housing to create a living, playing and working environment in the Industrial Park. A typical example is the luxury apartment project The Habitat Binh Duong.

VSIP I Industrial Park owns a strategic location in Thuan An Town, Binh Duong province. As the project is adjacent to two main roads, National Highway 13 and Road DT743, it is located in an area considered the center of the southern economic key.

Meanwhile, Binh Duong Province is considered one of the provinces with the most strongly developing new economy with investment from major foreign partners. Therefore, Binh Duong province’s GDP is very superior to the remaining provinces in the country.
